To ensure a secure and trustworthy marketplace experience, users must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Valid Contact Information: All users must provide accurate and up-to-date contact details, including a valid phone number and email address for communication and verification purposes.

1.Accurate Product Information: Sellers must provide clear, truthful, and detailed descriptions of each product, including specifications, images, and condition. Misleading listings are not permitted.
2.Fair & Transparent Pricing: All product prices must reflect genuine selling rates. Sellers are expected to set fair prices that align with the local market and avoid excessive markups or deceptive practices.
3.No Hidden Charges: Final product pricing must be inclusive of all costs where possible. Any additional delivery or service fees must be disclosed clearly at the time of listing.
4.Currency & Taxes: Prices should be listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and, where applicable, must include all relevant taxes to ensure buyers have full visibility of the total cost.
5.Timely Updates: If a product is out of stock or if prices change, sellers must promptly update the listing to avoid confusion or delays.
6.Prohibited Listings: Items that are illegal, counterfeit, hazardous, or violate intellectual property laws are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and possible account suspension.
7.Monitoring & Enforcement: D-Town Market reserves the right to monitor listings and adjust or remove any product that does not comply with platform standards or community guidelines.
5. Orders, Deliveries & Fulfilment
At D-Town Market, we strive to ensure every order is handled with care, delivered on time, and fulfilled to the highest standards. Our order and delivery process is designed for clarity, speed, and customer satisfaction:
1.Order Confirmation: Once an order is placed, users will receive a confirmation with order details and expected delivery timelines via SMS, email, or in-app notification.
2.Efficient Fulfilment: Sellers are expected to process and dispatch orders within the specified timeframe. Delays or cancellations must be communicated proactively.
3.Local Delivery Partners: We collaborate with local delivery personnel to ensure faster, more reliable service while generating employment opportunities within the community.
4.Tracking & Updates: Buyers will receive regular updates on order status. Real-time tracking may be available for certain delivery areas.

7.Failed Deliveries & Re-attempts: In case of unsuccessful delivery attempts, the buyer will be notified, and a re-attempt may be made as per D-Town Market’s delivery policy.
8.Delivery Charges: Any applicable delivery fee will be transparently displayed at the time of checkout and included in the final invoice.
9.Fulfilment Guarantee: In case of any discrepancy, non-delivery, or damaged items, customers are encouraged to contact support within the defined resolution window for swift redressal.
6. Returns, Replacements & Refunds
7-Day Return Policy
D-Town Market is committed to customer satisfaction and fair resolution in case of issues with orders. Our policy is designed to be transparent, hassle-free, and supportive for both buyers and sellers.

7. Payment & Transactions
We offer secure payment gateways: UPI, cards, wallets, net banking.
Cash on Delivery (COD) may be available for select orders.
In case of payment failure, retry or use an alternate payment mode.

4.Inventory Management: Vendors must keep their inventory updated. Out-of-stock products should be promptly marked as unavailable to avoid order cancellations.
5.Transparent Communication: All buyer inquiries, order issues, or complaints must be addressed professionally and promptly to maintain high service standards.
6.Compliance with Policies: Vendors are required to follow D-Town Market's terms, return policies, and applicable laws, including tax regulations and product restrictions.
7.Fair Pricing: Vendors must ensure their pricing is fair, inclusive of applicable taxes, and reflective of the local market. Inflated pricing or hidden charges are not allowed.

1.Sale of Illegal or Restricted Items: Any listing or transaction involving counterfeit goods, stolen property, banned substances, weapons, or items prohibited under local or national laws is strictly forbidden.
2.Fraudulent Behavior: This includes fake listings, misrepresentation of products, payment fraud, or manipulating prices, reviews, or order metrics.
3.Abusive Conduct: Harassment, offensive language, discrimination, or threats directed at customers, vendors, or support staff will not be tolerated.
4.Spamming or Misleading Content: Posting irrelevant, repetitive, or deceptive content for marketing, phishing, or misinformation purposes is strictly disallowed.
