Third Friday Durham @ MOSHI MOSHI

News!  You can now get more of dtownMARKET on Third Friday’s in Durham (awesome yeah?).

Come by Moshi Moshi Salon this third Friday for the first ever Moshi Moshi artMart with dtownMARKET!!

Moshi Moshi is thrilled to be pairing up with the dtownMARKET to create an ongoing third Friday art and craft market at Golden Belt! Now, in addition to its regular spot on first and third Sundays at Motorco, dtownMARKET will be found at Moshi Moshi Salon every third Friday!!

The Moshi Moshi artMart will feature a core group of local artists as well as a rotating roster of new comers (including some friends from the Carrboro Craft Market) so you can look forward to new people and wares each month. Moshi Moshi is working with dtownMARKET to create a community space at the artMart where people can stop in, hang out, and check out some great work by people in their community and where artists can come together to showcase and sell their goods.

Moshi Moshi artMart will begin at 7pm to give the vendors time to set up after Moshi Moshi Salon’s regular business hours which end at 6pm.

Moshi Moshi is located in Building 2, right next to LabourLove Gallery.

We can’t wait to see you there!!

April 15th – puppets and ring toss

Ok, so as I’m sure you all know this Sunday is the 3rd Sunday of April, which means it’s time for dtownMARKET to magically appear at Motorco’s Bloody Brunch! As usual dtown is FREE, all ages, dog friendly, and 12p-5p :)

This week is going to be a little different in a few ways.  First of all Motorco is hosting Brookyn Brewery’s Food Experiments National Tour on Sunday at the same time as the Bloody Brunch.  This event is $10 and located in the main showroom.  BUT DON’T FRET!!  Bloody Brunch and dtownMARKET are still as FREE as a bird.

The KoKyu crew and The Parlour will be pulling up next to the garage and the Garage Bar will be open for your beverage needs.  Our party just got more cozy and I think it will be a good thing.

If you haven’t yet, check out our vendor list.  Here’s a run-down of what you’ll find at dtown: handcrafted woodworks, whimsical foil sculptures, pop-art, jewelry, vintage clothing (men’s and women’s), vintage housewares and decor, Lego art, vegan/gluten free baked goods, bikeCOFFEE, mixed media paintings, and puppets!

***Some of our vendors are spicing things up, and I know you’ll like what they’re bringing to the table!  A. Pate Woodworks will be supplying some good ol’ outdoor fun with a hand crafted ring toss and mini corn hole and Tarish “Jeghetto the Puppet Maker” Pipkins will be performing with his amazing puppets throughout the day.  All of these festivities will truly be fun for all ages. ****

See y’all this Sunday!
